Option #1: Workshop LearnGarden parent workshops teach specific techniques that solve child and family challenges through discussion, Q&A, demonstrations, and role play. Each workshop enrolls parent participants whose children are relatively close in age. Our workshops are fast-paced, lively and packed with information. Parents who apply the techniques will see immediate results! FOR PARENT WITH INFANTS OR YOUNGER CHILDREN (PDF) FOR PARENTS WITH SCHOOL AGE, TWEEN OR TEEN CHILDREN (PDF) BACK TO SCHOOL OR JUST STARTING SCHOOL Just in time for the upcoming school 2007-08 school year, LearnGarden will have special back-to-school offerings for parents. Whether a child is entering school for the first time or returning to another year, Dr. Jones teaches parents how to best support their children addressing factors such as behavior management, academic skills, and social interaction. INSIDE PRIVATE SCHOOLS Among this year’s offerings will be a fall session Private School 101 Series for parents who desire to be “in-the-know” about their child’s private school education. INSIDE PRIVATE SCHOOLS - FOR MANHATTAN PARENTS OF 3RD-5TH GRADERS (PDF) PARENT IMPROV™ LearnGarden’s Parent Improv™, is an alternative to standard workshops and a place where parents can learn through improvisational role play (acting the parts of children, siblings, parents, teachers and others involved in the lives of your children). This workshop is always a breathless romp that makes you laugh and learn all at once! Current workshops are sometimes offered at promotional prices. Workshops rotate throughout locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, including Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Chelsea, West Village, Tribeca, Battery Park, Soho, East Village, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, and Park Slope. Option #2: Personalized Workshops Personalized parent workshops are provided to groups of friends and family members.  These are ideal if you wish to address specific parenting challenges that you share in common with others, but prefer a workshop to private consultation.		Details Scheduled as needed.  These workshops can take place in private homes or locations chosen by participants. Current promotional workshop fee is $50 per person, minimum of 5 persons.
Option #3: Private Consultation Dr. Jones provides private consultation for parents who desire more privacy and the opportunity to address specific parenting challenges in depth.		Details The initial one-hour consultation is free. Each subsequent session is $200 per hour, or $300 for home visits.
